Pickle Lintas Gurgaon has appointed Sujit Das as Executive Creative Director. Das joins Pickle after a two-year stint at McCann Erickson Bangalore, where he was Senior Creative Director. At Pickle, he will lead the creative function for the Gurgaon branch. Das brings 18 years of experience, with stints at TBWA, Euro RSCG and Publicis India, handling a diverse portfolio of clients such as ABN AMRO Bank, Aviva Life Insurance, Intel, Microsoft, HP-Compaq, Nike, Jaquar, Parryware, Dettol, Mortein, Harpic, Lizol, Bridgestone, Nestle Milk, ITC, Titan and Maggi, among others. Pickle Lintas has also brought on board Madhumita Deb as Creative Director in the agency’s Gurgaon branch. With 15 years in advertising, Deb was the Creative Director at Leo Burnett Delhi for almost seven years before joining Pickle. Besides Leo Burnett, Deb has also worked with Publicis and McCann Erickson, handling clients such as Bacardi Limon, Bacardi Breezer, Grey Goose vodka, Perfetti, General Motors, Maaza, Nescaf

ExlService Holdings, Inc., a leading provider of outsourcing and transformation services, has announced that Executive Chairman of the Board, Vikram Talwar, will transition to the role of non-executive Chairman of the Board of the company effective April 1, 2011. Saregama India has appointed Rajeev Rakshit as Head – Corporate Sales & New Initiatives. This is a key role, which aims at innovatively positioning music as the solution to various corporate gifting needs and other out of box ways to reach directly to customers. Rakshit comes to Saregama with 16 years of advertising experience with agencies like Orchard Advertising, where he was Executive Director. He also was solely responsible for the launch of Leo Group’s third agency brand, Black Pencil. Rakshit has also worked with agencies like Everest Brand Solutions, Publicis India, Euro RSCG Advertising, McCann Erickson and Ogilvy.
Dinesh Chandra, General Manager - Brand Marketing, Samsung India, has joined Kohler India as Director Marketing. In his new role, Chandra will be responsible for leading the marketing efforts of Kohler’s kitchen and bath products in the Indian Sub-continent. He took charge from the first week of October 2010.
Gurmeet Singh has been promoted as Head of Hindustan Times Mumbai edition. He was earlier looking after ad revenues for the Western region. Singh will be directly reporting to Salil Sadanandan, Business Head (West and South), Hindustan Times.
After a stint of two years, Priti Nair has quit BBH India as Managing Partner. She had joined BBH India in July 2008 as National Creative Director, along with Subhash Kamath and Partha Sinha, when the multinational agency had set up its India operations.
The appointment committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Rajiv Takru (IAS office of 1979 batch) as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. He is currently serving as Director General of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) under the Ministry of Textiles. Takru will replace Uday Kumar Verma (IAS officer of 1976 batch).

Jeffrey Yu is stepping down from his position as Chairman of Bates 141 and will be leaving the agency following disagreements over the future direction of the agency. Meanwhile, Tim Issac, Chairman, Bates Ogilvy Group Asia Pacific, will become actively involved with the regional management group while the agency chooses a new regional lead.
Ramsai Panchapakesan has quit Maxus as Investment Director, CTG. He is joining Etv Network as AGM, Marketing, North. This will be his second stint with Etv Network, where he will be reporting to K Subramanyam, VP, Marketing.
Ashwini Singla, CEO, Genesis Burson-Marsteller (GBM), has been appointed as CEO, South Asia, of Penn Schoen Berland (PSB) and is taking charge of his new role with immediate effect. With this new appointment, he joins the global leadership of PSB.
McCann Erickson’s Amit Ahluwalia has decided to bid adieu to the agency and join Ogilvy & Mather, Delhi as Vice President, Account Management. In his new role, Ahluwalia is reporting to Branch Head Sudhir Sahni.
Lintas Media Group has beefed up its senior team with two new additions – Muthukumarasamy (Muthu) and Patrick Gomes. While Muthu has been brought in as Senior Vice President responsible for Planning, Southern Operations, Gomes is Vice President, LMG West Operations.
Zee Turner Ltd, the joint venture company of two media conglomerates – Essel Group and Turner International – has appointed Virad Kaul as CEO. Kaul moves from Idea Cellular, where he was COO for UP, West, with additional charge of the Delhi and Haryana circles.
