Media Contacts, the digital arm of Havas Media, has reorganised and beefed up its operations in South Asia. Arnab Mitra, currently Director of Media Contacts India, has been promoted to Regional Director for South Asia, while Ravi Kabra has been made Director of New Business for South and South-East Asia.
Aniruddha Banerjee has put in his papers at Publicis Ambience as Chairman. Nakul Chopra, CEO-South Asia, Publicis, has confirmed the movement. Chopra further said that he would now directly take charge of Banerjee’s role “until we have achieved certain targets that we have set for ourselves”.
Blyk, a leading mobile messaging media, has appointed Shubhodip Pal as Country Manager for its India operations. Pal, a senior consumer-marketing professional, moves from Hewlett-Packard India, Personal Systems Group, where he was Head of Consumer Marketing.

Media agency Motivator and GroupM’s out-of-home arm Kinetic are set to see changes in their top management. Rajul Kulshreshtha, currently the Managing Director, Motivator, has been appointed the Managing Director of Kinetic. And Sundeep Sharma, who has been the GM at Motivator, has been assigned the role of Country Head of the agency.
L S Krishnan has joined Sakal Media Group as Business Head, Publications, on October 18, 2010. Prior to joining Sakal, Krishnan was working with Mudra Max as President.
