Ibibo Web Pvt Ltd, which launched Tradus.in, an auctions platform, on July 8, 2009, has appointed Rahul Sethi as President e-Commerce. Sethi would be responsible for building up and driving all e-commerce properties for the company. Prior to joining, Ibibo, Sethi had founded MobileNXT and was Head of E-commerce at Web18, a part of the Network18 Group. He was a core part of the Baazee.com team (from April 2000 to January 2006), and had worked in various roles of category management and later in marketing at eBay India (eBay bought over Baazee in June 2004). As Head of Marketing and General Manager, Futurebazaar.com (January 2006 – December 2007), Sethi had launched the brand and was instrumental in taking the company among the top three e-commerce websites in the country. In less than a year of launch, Futurebazaar was judged the best shopping website in PC-World Web Awards 2007.
