Dentsu Marcom has announced the elevation of Ashish Dabral as Chief Operating Officer, while Adrian Mendonza has been promoted as National Creative Director. Both Dabral and Mendonza have been with Dentsu since its inception four years ago. Both of them are Mumbai-based. Prior to their new roles, Dabral was Executive VP of Dentsu Marcom, while Mendonza was Executive Creative Director.

India’s media and entertainment (M&E) industry is poised to grow by 18 per cent over the next five years and become a Rs 1.157 trillion industry by 2012. This was revealed by the FICCI-PricewaterhouseCoopers 2008 report on the M&E industry. According to the report, the industry registered a 17 per cent growth in 2007 over the previous year.
