Kumar has 10 years of experience in marketing and sales. He was earlier with The Times of India as Manager-Sales. He had a six-year stint with TOI. Prior to that he was with Xerox and Canon, spending two years with each. At TOI, he was handling classifieds and would handle a somewhat similar responsibility in India Today.
