G K Singh, Deputy General Manager, Marketing, Media Transasia India Ltd, is joining Sandesh as Head of Marketing, North, from August 1. At Media Transasia, he was handling Swagat, the in-flight magazine of Indian. Singh began his career with Indian Express in 1990 and was there for eight years. He then joined Chitralekha Gujarati as Branch Manager in 1998 before moving to Amar Ujala, where he was involved in the launch of the daily's Varanasi edition. Singh joined Navabharat Mediamarketing as Regional Manager in 2003. He switched to Media TransasiaI in 2005.
