There has been a top-level restructuring in HT Media’s marketing team. Neelanjan Shome has been named as the new Chief Marketing Officer for HT Media. He takes the place of Anand Bhardwaj, who has been made Business Head of a new vertical, Marketing Solutions and Live Entertainment. Shome moves in from Young & Rubicam where he was Country Head and Managing Director of their Indonesian operations.

What ails the industry is to stand up and be counted as people who are delivering valuable inputs for the success of their clients. We believe we are not just suppliers of campaigns -- we want relationships that are fair and of equals. If we believe we are not going to get that, then it's not the business we want to be in. The unfortunate situation is that there are many agencies that are willing to work on less money."
