The Summer Cool categories witnessed 7% growth in Print advertising in 2006 over 2005, with nearly 50% of ad volumes coming in the 2nd quarter in 2005-06. Maximum ad volumes used by Summer Cool categories in general interest newspapers and women’s magazines. Airconditioners and refrigerators topped advertising in 2006. The most advertised brands were LG Intello Cool and Godrej Refrigerators.
