Shekhar Sharma has joined the India Today Group as General Manager-Internet & Telecom, after a more than a ten-year stint with The Times of India Group. His last responsibility was as Business Head, SMS Services, Indiatimes. Sharma had joined The Times Group in the FM ad sales team in 1994. He then moved to the Online Sales team of Indiatimes in 1998 and served as Manager for three years. He was also a part of the team that set up Indiatimes Mindscape.

Anuj Dahiya, Media Director, Initiative Media, has quit to join GroupM's digital media arm, Interaction, as Business Director. Dahiya began his career with Rediff.com as General Manager. After two years, he moved to Mediaturf Worldwide as Group Manager where he spent two years before moving to Initiative Media. At Initiative, he spent close to seven months and was instrumental in looking after the online initiatives of Maruti.

Late 2004 saw several television initiatives that attempted to test the reality genre. However, by end 2005, reality at best was operating in bursts – only finales and some episodes preceding them, have thrown numbers. With the end of the show, the high also ends. Have we been making more noise on reality genre than what it actually offers?
