The week was dominated by the exchange4media Conclave, the event saw most sought-after minds in the marketing, creative and media industry come together to discuss industry trends. Stephen Allan, MediaCom and Charles Frump, were the keynote speakers at the event. While, Stephen Li, CEO, APAC, OMD, spoke on ‘Reigniting the creative spark’. The event also saw an interesting panel discussion on ways to unlock the next growth opportunity in the ad industry.
Other industry leaders also graced the event, including, Tarun Katial, CEO, ZEE5, who spoke about the age of 'Hyper-personalisation and AI', Sachin Jain, President, Forevermark India and Sudhir Sitapati, who delved into the world of purposeful advertising and how it can help businesses.
Sanjay Gupta, Country Manager, Star & Disney India, was conferred with the Influencer of the Year award.
The week was also full of people on the move. Shailesh Gupta has been elected as President of the Indian Newspaper Society for 2019-20. Also, Joakim Borgström was been elevated as Worldwide Chief Creative Officer of BBH as Pelle Sjoenell has announced that he is departing the agency.
Paytm also roped in 'Trivago guy' Abhinav Kumar as Vice President, Product Marketing.
