The account size has been pegged at Rs 20 crore. This campaign will be for the Delhi Assembly elections that begin tomorrow in the National Capital.

Mark Robinson has been appointed CEO of Citi South Asia. Based in Mumbai, he will lead Citi’s significant banking franchise in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, and also join the Asia Pacific Executive Committee. Robinson is a 24-year Citi veteran, who has spent the majority of his career in emerging markets. He is currently President of Citibank ZAO, Citi Country Officer for Russia and Division Head for Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Prior to this, he was Division Head for Turkey and Israel, overseeing the institutional clients and consumer banking businesses. From 1997 to 2002, he was based in Hungary where, as Country Corporate Officer, he had managed the integration of two acquisitions that expanded the Bank’s local consumer and SME distribution network. Robinson had joined Citi in 1984 and his first assignment was Pakistan. He has also worked in the US and Hong Kong.

I come to India four times a year and my current visit is to access the business that we have in India, draw out an expansion plan, and make contacts with the industry people, among others.
