Partho Sengupta, Creative Director, Rediffusion DY&R, Delhi, has put in his papers. Sengupta was brought in to look after the creative work on non-Airtel brands in September 2006. Three months ago, he joined the Airtel team. Sengupta began his career in advertising around 13 years ago with Lowe (then Lintas) in Kolkata. After three years, he moved to Bates David Enterprise (then Enterprise Nexus) in Delhi as a creative consultant. Later, he joined Mudra Delhi as Senior Art Director and stayed there for three years. He has also done short stints at the Delhi branches of Saatchi & Saatchi and Euro RSCG. He was also associated with Cheil Communications and Dentsu Marcom in Delhi. At Rediffusion, before joining the Airtel team, Sengupta was working on brands such as Xerox, General Motors and Bacardi.

With a prize money of Rs 5 lakh along with a ‘Best Performer’ title award for the winner, ‘Garnier Fructis Vijay Jodi No. 1’ would be a 13-episode series to be aired on Fridays and Saturdays in the 8pm time slot.

9X is launching four new shows. Extending its prime time slot from January 7 onwards, daily fiction drama ‘Dahhej’ will air from Monday-Thursday in the 8.30 pm time slot. Come January 14, and the channel will premiere two daily dramas and a daily cookery show for its afternoon time band.
