The mobile giant has also split the pitch into two parts -- creative and creative strategy, and network distribution. In India, Bates is the creative agency for Nokia. The account size in India is upwards of Rs 100 crore.

There was a 48% growth in Mobile Phones ad volumes in Print in 2006 over 2005. And Q1 ‘07 registered a whopping 95% growth over Q1 ’06. Advertising was skewed towards publications from Maharashtra. Maximum ad volumes went to General Interest genre newspapers. Nokia led the advertisers’ list with 40% share and also advertised the maximum number of brands. LG and Motorola came 2nd and 3rd in the rankings.
