The combined size of the business is estimated to be in the region of Rs 25 crore. The account will be driven out of Chennai, and the group may also consider an exclusive agency to handle the BTL mandate.

BBC News has appointed Sanjoy Majumder as its India Correspondent. Based in New Delhi, Majumdar will be reporting for various outputs of the BBC including BBC World television, BBC World Service radio and the BBC News website. He started his career with the BBC in 1999 when he joined its online operations in London. He was later posted to the BBC’s South Asia Bureau in New Delhi in 2001 as the first overseas correspondent for the BBC News website. Since then he has been heading the BBC’s online operations in the region.
