MetLife Insurance Company (MetLife) has appointed Rajesh Relan as Country Manager and Managing Director for India. He succeeds Venky Mysore, who will take on expanded responsibilities in a role supporting MetLife’s International business. Relan is expected to take over by July 1, 2006. He was formerly with Aviva Plc.

Dimple Bhatia has moved to MPG as Planning Director. Her last assignment was with MindShare, Bangalore, as Business Head on the Lenovo account. She will report to Ruby Bana, head of MPG South. In an earlier stint with Maxus, Bhatia had worked with Bana. She began her career in a sales function with Sony Entertainment Television. Subsequently, she moved to O&M, and, after that, to Maxus, Bangalore.
