INS elections 2006-07: Hormusji Cama elected President, Bahubali Shah is Deputy President?blur=25

The Indian Newspaper Society (INS) elected its new body late on September 18, 2006. Taking over from Malayala Manorama’s Jacob Mathew as President is Mumbai Samachar’s Hormusji Nusserwanji Cama. Gujarat Samachar’s Bahubali Shah has been elected Deputy President. He takes over from Gulab Kothari, MD of Rajasthan Patrika.

The ‘Tea’ category garnered the maximum 19 per cent share of F&B print advertising, while GCMMF was the top F&B advertiser during Jan-June ’06. Regionwise, northern newspapers carried the highest share of F&B ads.
