Commenting on the management movement, Ravi Kiran, CEO South-Asia, Starcom MediaVest Group, said, “Dinesh is one of our best performing and most loyal managers and we value him a lot. To fulfill some personal needs, he wanted to move to Mumbai. Simultaneously, we had a need for beefing up our India Investment Group based in Mumbai, to handle a significantly larger investment volume. Dinesh has built our Bangalore operations rapidly over the last five years, taking us among the top three agencies in that market, as well as being our best performing office in India for two straight years. Under his unique and participative style of leadership, our Bangalore office has turned out to be a model in collaboration, client delight and productivity. Our Bangalore team is larger and stronger than ever and many of our clients there are looking at 2006 with enthusiasm. Indranil will have his hands full when he takes over.”

Speaking about his movement to Mumbai, Rathore, now Head of Investment Group, said, “I am elated moving to Mumbai. Due to certain personal commitments I cited my need to move to Mumbai and am glad I got the opportunity to do so. We are all a big family, and be it Bangalore or Mumbai, I know for sure that I am among friends and hope to make the best of the opportunity given to me. It is a new responsibility and I am looking forward to it.”

Datta, now Executive Director of Bangalore, said, “Starcom figures among one of the leading agencies, both in India and globally, and has historically continued to do some commendable work in integrated marketing communications. The Group is known to have high standards of media accountability and this along with Starcom’s exciting portfolio of clients, high concern for people and steady growth of career graph has prompted me to be part of this dynamic organisation.”
