Disney Channel is launching popular story collection, ‘Karadi Tales’, as its new series from this week. The series will air from Monday to Friday at 9.30 am. The show will combine stylised animation to bring alive Indian tales. The show will also feature some of India’s finest theatrical talent such as Naseeruddin Shah, Girish Karnad, Saeed Jaffrey and other celebrated artists as voice cast, coupled with a rich background score created by 3 Brothers & A Violin.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance has joined hands with social messaging platform SMS GupShup to bring traffic alerts via SMS directly from the traffic control room of Mumbai Traffic Police. The Mumbai Traffic Police has created three traffic communities – TrafficCity, TrafficEast and TrafficWest – which are sponsored by ICICI Lombard and will be sending traffic alerts to the community members twice a day.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd has reported a 38 per cent drop in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009, at Rs 110.95 crore. On the other hand, Zee News Ltd has reported a 14.68 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit for Q2 FY10 at Rs 13.14 crore.
