India’s metal tally at Spikes Asia has gone up to 40 this year, as compared to 11 metals last year. The 40 includes two Grand Prix for JWT India for the Teach India campaign. Ogilvy India has also won big this year. Along with the creative agencies, media agencies Lodestar and Mediacom have also put up a good metal show at Spikes Asia 2009.

BCCL has effected some senior level changes in its Southern operations in view of the business potential of the region. Chinnen Das has been appointed to the newly-created post of Director Business Development, Southern Region. Prior to this appointment, Das was President, Vijayanand Printers Ltd (VPL). Succeeding him is Sunil Rajshekhar, who has been made CEO of VPL. Both appointments are effective September 21.
