Richard Downey has joined Dennis Media Transasia as Publishing Director. He will be responsible initially for driving the business for ‘Blender’ and subsequently for some of the forthcoming international titles and online ventures. Downey has worked in the media industry in the UK for over 10 years. Starting his career as an advertising executive on a range of technology magazines, Downey took on the role of publisher in 2004. Prior to joining Dennis Media Transasia, Downey had held the role of Publishing Director at Dennis Publishing UK, where he had a portfolio that consisted of print, web and digital magazine properties turning over in excess of £3 million a year.
