Cisco Systems has appointed Amit Sinha Roy as Vice-President, Marketing, for India & SAARC region. Roy takes over from Ranajoy Punja, who moves to his new role as VP, Business Development - Advanced Technologies, Cisco Systems, India & SAARC. Roy brings with him over 16 years of global sales and marketing experience in the Asia Pacific and US geographies. Prior to joining Cisco, he was heading various marketing functions at Hewlett Packard (India, APAC & Japan), Syntel (US), Compaq India and HCL India. He holds a MMS degree from BITS, Pilani.

Neumann will be responsible for overseeing the operations of Convergys’ seven contact centres and approximately 10,000 customer care employees in India. She joined the company as a customer service representative in 1997, rising steadily through the ranks to become Senior Director of Operations before being appointed to her current role.

KLM-Northwest has appointed Tony Dryden as Marketing Manager for India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka & The Maldives. He will be responsible for Marketing, Revenue Management and Customer Services including the Flying Blue (Air France-KLM’s frequent flyer programme) Customer Service Centre in India. Dryden has been with KLM-Northwest since November 1989. In 1995, he moved to Amsterdam from London, where he worked on aligning the pricing structure for Northwest and KLM’s JV operations in The Netherlands, UK and India.
