It would be safe to say that Zee TV brought the trend back earlier in the year when it took its primetime five days a week. STAR Plus did it for some of its shows to cushion ‘KBC 2’ on Fridays and now SaharaOne has joined the league as well. Its three primetime shows are now extended Monday to Fridays as well.

Sun TV’s game show ‘Thanga Vettai’, which went on air on November 26, has registered impressive opening numbers in its launch episode. Sun now plans to take a similar format show to network channels Surya TV and Gemini TV to engage the Malayalam and Telugu audiences shortly.

Dua will be joining the soon-to-be-launched news channel CNN-IBN in its sales function.
