UFO Moviez, the digital cinema network launched by Valuable Media Pvt Ltd, plans to create the largest chain of digital cinema houses worldwide in India by 2007. UFO Moviez plans to invest 500 digital movie halls by mid-2006 at an investment of Rs 80 crore and scale it progressively to 2,000 cinema halls across India at a total investment of Rs 300 crore.

In the process of building regional agency brands, the Mudra Group has now set up another agency to take care of the western markets in India. The new agency, called Canvas, has been operational for some time now but has been formally incorporated only recently. Canvas is already taking care of Orpat and the second account with the agency is that of J&J skincare brands. Industry sources peg the J&J skincare brands in region of Rs 10 crore.
