The Association of Indian Magazines (AIM), the industry body of Indian magazines, on Tuesday elected a new body at its governing body meeting held in Delhi. Among those elected is India Today Group Executive Director, Ashish Bagga, as President of the association. Bagga replaces Paresh Nath, Editor-Publisher, Delhi Press Magazines.

Bank of Baroda has short-listed five agencies to take care of its advertising business. These are Mudra, Euro RSCG, FCB-Ulka, Lintas Personal and Interpublicity. The media arms of these agencies will take care of the media requirements of the bank. Industry sources peg the account at Rs 40 crore.

The Tata-STAR DTH venture crossed two major milestones on November 14 in its preparation to launch DTH services in the country. Formerly Space TV, the company has been re-christened Tata Sky Ltd. The company also announced that it had signed an agreement with ISRO to lease all 12 KU-band transponders on the INSAT 4A satellite.
