Mudra has appointed Soumitra Sen as President of Brand Therapist, the agency’s specialised unit that focuses on the communication needs of the healthcare industry. Sen will operate from Mumbai. Prior to joining Mudra, Sen was VP-Healthcare at Contract for four years. He has serviced brands like Gelusil, Waterburys, Anacin, Himalaya Drugs, Astra Zeneca and Lifecell. At Contract, he was instrumental in winning accounts like Equal, USV, Dr. Reddy’s Lab, Organon and Shreya Pharma.

After amending the uplinking policy, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry on Friday notified stricter norms for downlinking television channels in India. According to the guidelines, all foreign channels need government clearance to be downlinked in India for public viewing.
