ESPN-STAR Sports bags worldwide telecast rights for Asia Cup?blur=25

Asian Cricket Council (ACC), the apex body for management of cricket in Asia, has awarded the worldwide rights for telecasting the 9th Asia Cup to ESPN-STAR Sports. Rights include global exclusive TV broadcast of the tournament, radio broadcast and on-ground sponsorships.

What’s going on? Almost every news channel is numero uno these days! At least that is what the deluge of communication from channels for the past five to six weeks would have us believe. Matters have become more interesting with players like NDTV and Zee TV now using aMap data, in addition to TAM numbers at times, to claim pole position.
