Brian Charles Escrader has joined Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Ltd as Regional Manager, Sales. He will be primarily responsible to generate revenue through ad sales for the Network’s soon-to-be launched Hindi channel Janmat. Escrader will be heading the sales operations of the channel in the northern region and will be reporting to Kanta Advani, President, Sales and Marketing. Previously, Brian was with Outlook Publishing (India) Pvt Ltd as Manager, Advertising.

PC buyers have never had it so good, close on the heels of a Kolkata company launching a sub-10,000 PC, Advanced Micro Devices Inc and HCL have launched a sub-10,000 PC powered with AMD's 1600 MHz x86 processor. The computer was unveiled by Communications and IT Minister Dayanidhi Maran on October 13.

British Airways has launched its first ever made-for-India television commercial, which is part of the airline's largest ever media campaign in the country. The campaign, titled 'Namaste', is based on the theme 'The World Is Waiting'. The ad hit the tubes on October 12 and will be on air for nearly two months.

The findings show Radio Mirchi score as the lead player, despite a drop in Mumbai. Radio City is on the number two slot followed by Red FM, which has registered a drop in both Mumbai and Delhi markets.
