Just when one thought that NRS 2005 had been finally accepted by the industry, the Indian Express Group has taken National Readership Studies Council to court over the readership numbers of its Marathi daily, Loksatta. The suit has been filed in Bombay High Court.

Maxus has won the coveted IDBI media business in Mumbai worth Rs 20-25 crore. The win comes on the back of several wins in the past three months. The incumbent agencies on the IDBI media account were Lodestar and Network. It may be added here that in June, Bates had bagged the creative duties of IDBI.

Publicis has bagged the Treo glassware account following a pitch in which four agencies had participated. Treo is a new brand from Hamilton Housewares Pvt Ltd, makers of Milton, and the account size is estimated to be around Rs 5 crore.

Triton will be handling the creative duties of the Sanyo-BPL JV. As reported by exchange4media earlier, the other three agencies shortlisted for the final creative presentations were Dentsu Communications, Enterprise Nexus and Orchard Advertising. The size of the account is estimated to be Rs 18-20 crore.
