The Information & Broadcasting Minister, Jaipal Reddy, announced that the bidding process for 336 private FM radio stations will start from next week. Addressing the Indian Magazine Summit organized by the Indian Newspaper Society (INS) in the Capital today, the Minister said that expansion of radio is going to be an exciting phenomenon.
