The Outlook Group is all set to launch a Delhi-centric magazine, ‘City Limits’. The lifestyle magazine will not essentially be about Page3. The marketing brochure of the magazine says it all: ‘Page3 is for age three, for grown-ups there is City Limits’.

Yahoo! India has launched an ad campaign for its Mail service. The 10-week-long campaign has been launched with the July issue of magazines such as Business Today, Business World, India Today, Savvy, Femina, Swagat, the in-flight magazine of Indian Airlines and Jet Airways. The campaign also includes airport activity at Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.

Soft drink brand 7UP has become possibly the first one to ever advertise in 3-D format in print in India, through a centerspread ad in the July 17 issue of Tamil weekly Ananda Vikatan. The publication is hopeful that more advertisers will join the 3-D bandwagon.

Direct-to-home (DTH) broadcasters may have to get government permission for changing their equity structure and joint venture agreements. This move by the government is aimed at tightening the norms pertaining to the sector and prevent companies from changing ownership structures and transfer key functions to minority foreign partners, according to an official. The information and broadcasting ministry is expected to notify these guidelines soon.
