The Daily News and Analysis (DNA), which has put most details into place for its launch in Mumbai on July 21, 2005, has now kicked off the process for its entry into the Delhi market. The first signal of its intentions for a Delhi edition is the purchase of a 10-acre plot in Noida, Phase 3, at a consideration of Rs 16 crore.

The Jasubhai Group is planning to launch a fortnightly magazine addressing the community of CIOs and CTOs, titled ‘CTO Forum’ (CTOF). The launch is scheduled for August 2005, and the publication hopes to circulate 30,000 copies of the magazine initially and scale up thereafter depending on the demand.

Marathi daily Loksatta has decided its time it made some noise in the market to attract reader attention. The paper has initiated a marketing campaign around its initiative ‘Scratch to Win’ and Loksatta officials say that in the process it has increased circulation by 60,000 copies in less than a month.
