State Bank of India finalises seven agencies for Rs 35-40 crore advertising account; to add three more?blur=25

State Bank of India has almost completed its pitch processes and decided to assign the business to ten agencies. However, despite the completion of the pitch process, SBI has till now sent empanelment letters only to seven agencies. The seven agencies are JWT, Mudra, O&M, Saatchi & Saatchi, Adfactors, RK Swamy/BBDO and Mode. Industry sources peg the account in the region of Rs 35-40 crore.

New Vernon to buy 25% of Jagran TV?blur=25

Jagran TV Private Limited, will offload 25.7 per cent stake in it to the Mauritius-based investor New Vernon Bharat Ltd. The news broadcaster, which is the broadcasting arm of the Kanpur-based Jagran Prakashan, is expected to raise Rs 30 crore from the deal. This puts the total valuation of Jagran TV, which started its operations only about a month back at Rs 87 crore (pre-transaction value).
