MTNL has finally decided on the agencies to take care of its creative duties. The organisation has chosen SSC&B Lintas, Sobhagya and Pressman as its creative agencies. According to industry sources, the account size is in the region of Rs 40 crore.

Kerala has come to occupy the top position in monthly per capita consumer expenditure (MPCE) both in the rural and urban sectors of the country. In the rural sector, the population having MPCE above Rs 950 is the highest in Kerala at 30 per cent, followed by Punjab at 13.6 per cent, according to the latest Economic Review by the State Planning Board.

Dabur India Ltd appears to be in a dilemma over Binaca. The brand, which was acquired from Reckitt Benckiser in 1996, appears to have become redundant for Dabur after the Balsara acquisition. And company sources indicate that Dabur might be once again keen to sell off Binaca.

Sierra India Pvt Ltd, the official licensee for Walt Disney shoes in India, is ready with its range of shoes for the little ones under the brand name “Disney Shoes”. The company launched the shoes on Monday across India and the advertisement for the same is scheduled for February 14, confirmed a senior company official. On the sales target, he said, “The company is looking at Rs 8 to 10 crore this year.”
