Whirlpool has announced the launch of the world’s first single frost control refrigerators. It is the only frost control single door refrigerator in the world with special sensors that maintain the right level of frost in the freezer by automatically defrosting any excessive frost formation.

In what will boost broadband and Internet penetration in the country, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has suggested upto 75 per cent cut in domestic leased circuit rates. In a consultation paper released on Tuesday, Trai proposed a downward revision of tariff applicable for domestic leased circuits.

To prevent other foreign publications from going the same way as International Herald Tribune (IHT), the government is now tightening its grip over the Registrar of Newspapers in India (RNI), which is responsible for granting titles to publications.
