The Supreme Court directed Ten Sports to share its cricket feed with Doordarshan, and set for hearing the issue of claims settlement on April 15. The relief, given in public interest by the court to Doordarshan, came with a rider. The court made it clear to Prasar Bharati that it could not use the exclusive telecast right of another channel for commercial gains. The national channel was restrained from showing any of its own advertisements during the match and 30 minutes before and after the match.

Pavan Varshnei to head Insight?blur=25

As reported by exchange4media day before, S Yesudas has quit Insight. He vacated his post as the head of Insight, a Lintas Media group company the day before. Replacing him would be Pavan Varshnei. Varshnei, till recently was heading Lowe 1, Delhi - the agency’s Delhi unit, which handles Maruti among other brands. He was moved to head Intellect in the month of February and effective yesterday, he has taken charge as the Head, Insight.
