Dandi salt, Friendly Wash to go off the shelves?blur=25

An acute financial crisis has forced the Surat-based company Kunvar Ajay Group to withdraw its salt brand Dandi and Friendly Wash detergent from the market. The Kunvar Ajay Group started its business making mass-market sarees under its own brand nearly 20 years ago. It had been in the FMCG business for the past two years with its Dandi salt and Friendly Wash detergent.

FM channels seek time for licence fees?blur=25

Private FM radio companies have sought an extension of the April 29 deadline for paying their annual licence fees, till a decision on the recommendations of the Amit Mitra committee is taken. The committee has suggested a switchover from the present licence fee regime to a revenue sharing method. It has recommended a share of 4 per cent of the gross revenue in the revenue sharing regime.
