Coca-Cola launches Olympic torchbearer nomination drive?blur=25

Coca-Cola India on Tuesday announced the launch of its Olympic Torch Bearer nomination programmes to select 42 torchbearers and seven escort runners to participate in the global relay of the Olympic Flame on June 10. The programmes include essay competitions for school students, a radio phone-in nomination programme and key account activation in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad.

In Mr Murdoch’s application, which was submitted on Tuesday, Tata Sons holds 80 per cent. STAR officials Jagdish Kumar and Ajay Sharma have the remaining 20 per cent in the Space TV DTH venture.
