Cable operators told to register interconnect pacts?blur=25

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has asked the broadcasting and cable service providers to register the interconnect agreement with the regulator. In a statement, the watchdog said that all the broadcasters, including their authorised distribution agencies, and multi service operators (MSOs) are bound to register with TRAI any interconnect agreements to which they are parties within 30 days of signing the agreements or within 30 days of the coming into affect of these regulations.
