Mediaware Infotech launches Creative Work Flow System software for ad agencies

Software solutions provider Mediaware Infotech Pvt Ltd has launched Creative Work Flow System software for the advertising and media industry. This web-based image repository and workflow software, is useful for advertising agencies looking for a single database of all their photos and images, created in-house, sourced from the Internet, parent company, third party sellers, clients as well as scanned images from manual archives or photographs.

Elaborating on the software, Biswajit Das, CEO, Mediaware Infotech, said, “The software is categorised under Digital Asset Management. It is a repository of digital assets for a creative agency. The artists can use the amazingly quick search facility to browse through thousands of images that they require to make their creatives. Under Creatives Management, all approved creatives for various clients can be uploaded in this section. The powerful search engine will enable users/clients to quickly sort images through the advance search option, while Job Management allows the agency’s creatives to be monitored by seniors and clients. They can also comment on the job done and approve it if they find the work satisfactory.”

This web-based software can be installed on a local server or web server and can be accessed within the local network or globally, as desired by the client. Though this software has been specially designed for the media industry, it can be customised for any other industry where there is an extensive use of images and other media files.

“The objective of this software is to give a single point of access to ad agencies for their images database, which is easily navigable, searchable and also has a workflow system which will allow agencies to get client approvals online,” Das added.

The software enables clients to access the library from any PC within the intranet / internet; restrict group level / brand level access through user ID / password; power search photos based on keywords, categorisation, date, clients or brand; add local photos by their photographers; and add scanned images from their archives.

Talking about Mediaware’s upcoming solutions, Das said, “When we talk about the entire media industry, it comprises three components – ad agencies, media and advertisers. Mediaware has got ready softwares for ad agencies, corporate advertisers and media. It is now in the process of presenting to the industry an end-to-end application integration so that all correspondences and transfer of documents and materials will be electronically done through web servers. Mediaware is already doing this with one of the major TV channels and two top agencies of the country. We will be ready with this by mid-2006.”

Some of Mediaware’s clients include GroupM, FCB Ulka, Rediffusion, Mediaedge:CIA, RK Swamy BBDO, Euro, Carat, Publicis, TBWA Anthem, Madison, STAR TV, Sahara TV, Hinduja TMT, India Today, LIC, Videocon, and Parle Products.

Commenting on the role of IT in the advertising and media industry, Das said, “When we talk of advertising, it has become the basic need as a marketing tool, which incurs a lot of expenses and time if done manually. With IT playing a critical role, all the processes can be revolutionised.”

Advertising professional and art collector Swapan Seth has announced the launch of his new book COOL. The book is described as "a ready reckoner to the hip and the happening, of the known and the very unknown."

The book is a reflection of the author's "eclectic taste across categories: from boltholes to exotic hideaways."

COOL has been published by Simon & Schuster India and is available on Amazon.

Seth is an ad veteran with a long and illustrious career in the industry. He became the youngest-ever Creative Director at Clarion at age 24. He was VP at 26 at Trikaya Grey. Two years later, he started his agency Equus.

He writes for publications such as The Economic Times, Hindustan Times and India Today. This is his second book and he has previously published THIS IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY.

e4m Staff Disney Star has signed nine broadcast and digital streaming sponsors for the upcoming Asia Cup.

Charged by Thums Up, Nerolac Paint+, Amazon Pay, Jindal Panther, My11Circle, MRF, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, Wild Stone and Thums Up have come on board for the upcoming tournament.
As reported earlier by exchange4media, Disney Star has sought Rs 26 crore for the co-presenting sponsorship on TV and Rs 30 crore for Disney+ Hotstar.

According to industry sources, the associate sponsorship on Star Sports has been priced at Rs 19.66 crore, whereas for the ‘powered by’ sponsorship on Disney+ Hotstar, the broadcaster is seeking Rs 18 crore.

As per the information available with exchange4media, Disney+ Hotstar has three sponsorship tiers-- co-presenting (Rs 30 crore), powered by (Rs 18 crore) and associate sponsorship (Rs 12 crore). The broadcaster is offering an estimated reach of 120-140 million for co-presenting sponsors, 90-100 million for powered by and 60-70 million for associate sponsorship.

A spot buy for 10 seconds has been priced at Rs 25 lakh for the India vs Pakistan matches, while for the non-India matches, the ad rate for 10 second is Rs 2.3 lakh. The India matches plus the final for ODIs has been priced at Rs 17 lakh per 10 seconds.

Asia Cup is scheduled to be held from 30 August, 2023, to September 17, 2023.
